Accreditation

The Australian College of Applied Psychology is a Higher Education provider delivering courses that are accredited and recognised by a number of government authorities and education institutions.

The College's accreditation and recognition arrangements ensures students receive courses that are academically sound, professionally recognised, and deliver graduates with skills, knowledge and qualifications in demand by industry and employers.

The College is a Member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) and adheres to ACPET's Code of Ethics. As a member of ACPET's Australian Students Tuition Assurance Scheme (ASTAS) students are assured that if for any reason the College is not able to deliver courses, enrolled students will be guaranteed continuity of their tuition in the same or a similar course. NEW SOUTH WALES

  • The Australian College of Applied Psychology was established in 1983.
  • In 1993 the College became the first private education institution in Australia to deliver accredited undergraduate and postgraduate counselling qualifications.
  • On 1 January 2003, the College became an approved Higher Education provider under the NSW Higher Education Act 1988 for the delivery of the Graduate Diploma of Counselling.
