Experience at ACAP:
I found my learning experience at ACAP, Sydney Campus a journey home.  The trainers were encouraging and supportive, yet challenging throughout.  The challenge to step outside the square and explore my self through knowledge expansion, my experiences I found so exhilarating.  The experience feed my hunger to learn and continue to achieve - first my successful comlpetion of a Graduate Diploma of Counselling and then onto an achievement I had never dreamed, my Masters of Counselling.  The Master of Counselling gave me an amazing experience and achievement.  I wish to thank the trainers who continued to emcourage me and my development, believed in me and assisted my own self belief - an experience of achievements. I personally enjoyed the relationships of all participants, fellow students, trainers and administraion, thank you for walking this journey with me.

How personally and or professionally benefitted from study at ACAP:
I have benefited personally in the relationships I have experienced during and as a continuation well my completion.  I have discovered my true purpose in life, one which I find fulfilling and rewarding. I have experienced personal growth and self discovery.  Professionally I have a successful private practice which now is generated by referrals of other clients - 'word of mouth', a wonderful validation. I also have been able to utilise all of my past skills in aged and community services, advertising and marketing, private enterprise experience continiuos quality improvement and accreditation standards as well as my professional counselling knowledge and experience in development of a State wide  Brokerage Counselling delivery Program funded by the Department of Health & Ageing through my employment with Carers NSW as the National Carer Counselling program Coordinator. An amazing achievement both personally and professionally.

How used qualifications since graduation:
Yes see above ...both in developing a successful private practice and with employment with a Community organisation (Carers NSW) as Program Coordinator of a State Wide design, implementation and coordination of the National Carer Counselling Program - a brokerage counselling service delivery involving the recruitment, training and coordinating the assessment & referral of individual counselling to people in a caring role.  The program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health & Ageing.
