Case Management Workshops

As a case manager, you'll need practical communication and networking skills, and the best way to develop these is through face-to-face interaction. So you will need to attend workshops at an ACAP campus to help you ensure you have these skills.

These one-day workshops are a great opportunity to meet fellow case management students and your experienced educators, who will become a valuable network after you graduate. These workshops provide you with the opportunity to practice your skills in a dynamic, interactive environment and allow us to assess your practical skills to make sure you meet the competencies required by the Diploma.

Workshop 1

The module Facilitating case management has a one day workshop associated with it that focuses on the processes involved in conducting meetings with clients and developing case management plans.

Workshop 2

The module Communication skills and relationships has a one day workshop associated with it at which you'll develop specific communication skills to help you build relationships with clients and support staff.

Workshop 3

The module Intensive client work has a 1 day workshop associated with it at which you'll develop the skills needed for quality case work and group work strategies.

Case management workshops 1 and 2 are run on the same weekend, so you can undertake them at the same time.

All workshops are compulsory and are run at each of our three campuses (Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne). When you enrol in a module that has an associated workshop you will be enrolled in the related workshop. We will enroll you in the workshop at the campus located in your home state or if there is no campus in your home state we will enroll you in the workshop in the campus located closest to your home.
