How to get there

  • Car: Parking is available in Post Office Square Carpark entered via Adelaide Street.
  • Train: Central Station is one block, just a 2-minute, walk away from the campus.
  • Bus: City buses stop in Adelaide Street.
  • Ferry: The Brisbane River City Cat Ferry stops at Riverside Centre which is a 5-minute walk from campus.

I left school at 15 before completing the School Certificate. I married at 17 and started a family at 19. The only training I had done before ACAP, was a TAFE Certificate in accounting to assist in the family business. I was very nervous about studying but the support I received was terrific. Being able to build upon modules into a Certificate IV through to the Bachelors is a terrific advantage. I can set goals and achieve them. My plan is to have a counselling practice for children and families specialising in the area of grief and trauma. I have personal experience in this area and hope to be able to bring benefit to others.
