How to get there

Car: Parking is available in a paid parking lot behind the new campus, which can be accessed from A’beckett Street.  There is also metered parking at the Market, but depending on the day and time of your class, this may be difficult to find.

Train: Travel to Flagstaff or Melbourne Central Station. Take the LaTrobe Street tram to Queen Street and walk a block up Queen Street just past A’Beckett Street.

Tram: Take a tram up William Street or Elizabeth Street to LaTrobe Street.  Take the LaTrobe Street tram to Queen Street and walk a block up Queen Street just past A’Beckett Street.

Bus: Buses run into the CBD from all Melbourne suburbs.  Please check your local bus schedule or online at www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au.

I left school at 15 before completing the School Certificate. I married at 17 and started a family at 19. The only training I had done before ACAP, was a TAFE Certificate in accounting to assist in the family business. I was very nervous about studying but the support I received was terrific. Being able to build upon modules into a Certificate IV through to the Bachelors is a terrific advantage. I can set goals and achieve them. My plan is to have a counselling practice for children and families specialising in the area of grief and trauma. I have personal experience in this area and hope to be able to bring benefit to others.
