My ACAP experience: My experience with ACAP was life altering. The modules are very helpful in developing a useful set of skills to use in the work force and in private practice. The learning environment was modern and professional. The flexilbilty of ditance education especially with a young family was what made my time at ACAP a positive experience.

How has ACAP benefited you personally or professionally? Professionally I have a career that I am in charge of. Being in private practice gives me flexibilty and choice.My qualifiaction from ACAP helped me make choices that I otherwise might not have now.My personal and family life has benefitted enormously from being in private practice.

How have you used your qualification? I'm in private practice(That I enjoy thoroughly) and I am looking at furthering my study in the future.

Description of services: We are an Independent Behaviour Centre based in Sydney's South West that offers opportunities for children adults and families to reach their full potential through Counselling and skills training. We have developed Behaviour programs for children aged 4-18 that tackle real-life issues with a practical "hands on" approach. Our emphasis during therapy, particularly for children, will be creating an environment that is FUN; where enjoyable and individually tailored learning and therapeutic change can take place. Creative play, drawing, emotional release work, visualizations and drama/role-play is a major component during the healing process
