Distance Education

Distance Education offers the student a convenient, comprehensive and supportive learning environment. Students are issued with the module Manual and can purchase the Textbook and Readings Pack (the Readings Pack can also be downloaded free of charge). The content is divided into 12 sections which are undertaken over a 12 week term. Interaction with the educator and other students is conducted through 'tele-tutorials' and by arrangement with the educator via telephone and/or email. Educator feedback is frequent and specific to each student. Some modules include a one-day Intensive Skills Development (ISD) Workshop component which is completed on campus prior to graduation.

Studying by Distance was practical, easy to follow, interactive and thorough. Intensive Skills workshops were an invaluable component and provided me with an opportunity to network, validate my learning, practise newly acquired skills and observe and learn from the techniques, knowledge and experiences of others. I found the educators and College staff readily contactable, warm and generous in the time, resources and support they offered.
