English proficiencyIt is important that students have a solid grasp of both written and spoken English, as the College's approach to learning is highly interactive and experiential. Applicants whose secondary and/or tertiary education was undertaken in a language other than English will need to provide the results of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination. The minimum English language proficiency requirement for entry to the College is an IELTS overall band score of 6.0. Student visasWhen the College accepts an international student, it provides an Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE) or a 'Letter of Offer', which is required for student visa applications. It is the student's responsibility to obtain his or her student visa from the Federal Department of Immigration in Australia or from an Australian Mission in the student's home country. Personal detailsIt is important that all international students contact Administration when they first arrive at the College. Administration must hold all current contact details, as well as copies of all your study visa documentation. HomestayHomestay is one of the easiest and most secure ways to become part of Australian life.
