All our supervisors have many years experience as practitioners and are specifically trained and accredited as supervisors. Benefits
Group SupervisionThe group supervision component of the Program involves small groups of five or six interns meeting with a skilled supervisor in this experiential learning mode. The five core topics reflect the Key Standards in which every Psychologist registering in NSW must be competent. Additionally, five elective supervision groups are selected by interns according to their area of speciality or interest. Benefits
Training WorkshopsInterns also choose three modules from a large range of psychology and counselling-related courses provided by ACAP. These are offered in a number of formats including during term (morning, afternoon, or evening), or in condensed form over weekends or summer school. Psychological (Psychometric) Testing Module Many interns choose the 20-hour Psychological (Psychometric) Testing Module as one of their training workshops as it provides in-depth supervision and training in this important area.
