Psychology Workshops at ACAP

Continuing Professional Development with ACAP

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an important means for you as a Psychologist to:

  • keep up-to-date with theoretical developments and research evidence underpinning practice,
  • enhance your knowledge, skills, attitudes, competence and expertise, as well as
  • broaden areas of practice.

To help you meet these needs the School of Psychological Sciences is pleased to announce the launch of its Continuing Professional Development Program for Psychologists commencing in 2011.

Annual completion of a minimum amount of accredited CPD is required to maintain currency of registration by the Psychology Board of Australia, membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), membership of APS specialty Colleges, and currency for Medicare health service providers. CPD Workshops offer you an opportunity to meet these requirements and promote competency based education in professional psychology.
