Cognitive/Behavioural TherapyModule SynopsisThis module provides a comprehensive foundation in Cognitive/Behavioural psychotherapeutic approaches. Several highly effective and researched approaches will be examined in their application of promoting change in inappropriate or unhelpful thinking. As studies have shown cognitive approaches to be the most preferred treatment approach to a variety of conditions and problem sets, it will also discuss specific mental health issues and explore the use of cognitive therapy concepts and components to relieve symptoms of those disorders.
