Cross Cultural Counselling

This module provides a conceptual framework within which students are able to develop and practice skills for cross-cultural counselling.

The issues, concerns and needs of a diverse and multicultural society are explored and addressed throughout the module. Students develop a heightened sensitivity to the expression of culture and learn to effectively apply the skills and strategies of cross cultural counselling in a variety of contexts.

The studies, combined with my previous work experience, have led me into a more satisfying role in an industry I know well. My studies have given me the confidence to manage a role where top notch "soft skills" are essential.
