Helen Reese

Helen is an Educator, Trainer and Course Designer at ACAP, and with other government and non government organisations. She has worked for 16 years in a K-12 boys school as a clinical nurse specialist in child and adolescent health and welfare and has a private counselling practice in the inner west of Sydney, called Therapies Summer Hill where she sees children, adolescents, individuals and families.

She brings to her roles 30 years experience in counselling, health and education. Helen continues to conduct private courses for children, adolescents and women suffering from depression, anxiety, personal growth and self esteem issues.

A registered nurse with postgraduate qualifications in paediatrics and sports medicine, Helen also has a Master of Counselling and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training. She has worked in hospitals, community and school settings and brings a wealth of practical experience to her training.

Her personal dream is to find the answers to help borderline personality disordered clients.

The dedication of educators combined with a curriculum that is so experiential gave me confidence to establish a private practice drawing on my previous professional and personal experience. My work is split between two passions, providing grief counselling to men who have partners with cancer and corporate coaching to middle managers, as individuals and in groups, to assist them become more effective people managers.
