Sue Pretty BA Dip Ed, Dip Counselling & Psychotherapy, Dip Hypnosis, MCAPA. Sue is a Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Educator, Hypnotherapist and Coach.
Sue writes: “Life education is an on-going process and I am passionate in helping people to achieve their potential. My philosophy incorporates the belief that with support, understanding and guidance, individuals have the strength and resources to develop new skills, achieve their goals and create a balanced and rewarding lifestyle.
“My role as an educator has covered many areas, both in teaching adult classes in a college environment and in the corporate world of human resources. My diverse experience and knowledge helps students to develop critical and analytical thinking and motivate them through self directed learning. The family and relationships module is a favourite, as I believe systemic theory underlies all relationships, family, work and friendships and has contributed to creating who we are and how we behave.
“As a private practitioner I specialise in relationship counselling for individuals, couples and families. My expertise covers a range of therapies and coaching skills, tailored to the individuals needs”
The dedication of educators combined with a curriculum that is so experiential gave me confidence to establish a private practice drawing on my previous professional and personal experience. My work is split between two passions, providing grief counselling to men who have partners with cancer and corporate coaching to middle managers, as individuals and in groups, to assist them become more effective people managers.
