Career Development

Students enrolled in courses receive focused career development services to maximise their opportunities for success.

Our Academic and Student Support Counsellors are trained to provide career counselling. They assist students determine short and medium term career goals, recommend study, fieldwork and additional training options to meet those goals and advise on how previous experience can be utilised in a career transition.

They can also assist with resume writing and job interview skills. Students also have the opportunity to undertake a module in Professional Development and Reflective Practice which covers many aspects of ongoing career development.

ACAP has opened up more opportunities for employment and work experiences. In my present position, I have been able to enhance my job description with my new skills and now have my own private practice.
