The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse – Working with Couples

Alexandra Barbas is a Senior Clinician at Relationships Australia and has worked as a counsellor for over 19 years in community based settings and private practice. She has predominantly worked with clients in the field of relationships, complex trauma and suicidality. Alexandra has provided training in Australia to over 1000 students and counselors in a number of areas, including but not limited to, relationships, mental health, suicide and trauma. Alexandra will present practical tools that counselors can use to work with clients experiencing relationship difficulties.

Based on Dr John  Gottman’s work, during this three hour session, Alexandra Barbas will take you through the Predictors of Divorce, the Seven Principles of a Successful Marriage and  explore the tools that enable you to work effectively with couples.
