Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science
The Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science comprises 9 core units, each 6 credit point units, a total of 54 credit points.
- Consistent with APAC requirements for qualifying 3-year psychology sequence courses, the 9 core units in the Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science, enable learners to deepen and broaden their knowledge and skills, through a curriculum that intentionally and visibly addresses the transition to higher level study in Psychology.
- This degree is for students who already hold a conferred and recognised degree at Bachelor level or higher in any discipline and have completed an APAC accredited first year sequence in psychology. For those who hold a degree but have not completed an accredited first year sequence in psychology, a transition program of 3 units is required for entry to the Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science.
A standard annual full-time enrollment pattern at ACAP is 8 units per year undertaken as 3 units in trimester 1, 3 units in trimester 2, and 2 units in trimester 3. However, the Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science can be completed in one year by completing 3 units each trimester for 3 trimesters.

- PSYC5212 is a pre/co-requisite for all other units in the Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science.
