Effectively managing your study workload

Managing your study workload, along with work, family and other commitments can be done with the right planning. Feedback from students has shown that the workload is manageable if you utilise all of the resources available to you and manage your time effectively.

The support options available to you are:

  • Your lecturers and tutors are available to help you with any problems you may encounter throughout your subjects and degree
  • The online discussion board on my.acap enables you to communicate not only with your lecturers and tutors, but also with the rest of your class. A lot of the time you will find other students are having a similar problem or that another student can answer your question.
  • Academic Skills Workshops on our Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne campuses. At these workshops you'll learn important study skills such as essay writing, source acknowledgement and writing reference lists.
