Expressions of Interest Seeking Participants.
Are you female aged 18 years or over?
Have you been given a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder (BDP)?
And have you been involved in and completed a long term (6-12mth+) course of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)?
Are you interested in participating in a study exploring women’s understanding and experience of the recovery process?
If so, Chloe Hick would love to hear from you. Chloe is conducting this research as part of her Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree at the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), under the supervision of Dr. Fiona Ann Papps and Dr. Ester Senderey-German.
Participation involves engaging in an interview with Chloe that may take between 40 and 90 minutes, depending on how much you would like to say about your experience of DBT in relation to your recovery process.
It is hoped that the results from the project will contribute to a greater and more optimistic attitude towards recovery from BPD among those diagnosed with the disorder and those who work with them.
If you would like to know more about the research project and are interested in participating, please contact Chloe by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Participation in this research is voluntary. You may choose to withdraw from the study at any stage of the data collection process. You will be reimbursed for your travel expenses to and from the interviews.
This research has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the Australian College of Applied Psychology (Approval Number: 183120115)
