ACAP provides annual scholarships for a selection of counselling and psychology courses. Our 2016 applications close at the end of January for the following School of Counselling and Psychology scholarships:
1. The ATSI Scholarship for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students (for any qualification)
Eligibility for the ATSI Scholarship has been extended.From 2016, it will be open to all indigenous students in the School of Counselling, regardless of course enrolment. Previously, this scholarship was only available to undergraduate students.
2. The Alan Rowe Scholarship for Bachelor qualifications
This scholarship is for eligible students who are Australian Citizens or holders of permanent humanitarian visas. Eligibility is determined on a range of considerations, including the applicant’s demonstrated engagement in community activities.
3. The Nora Huppert Scholarship for the Graduate Diploma of Counselling
The main criterion for this scholarship is a demonstrated commitment to the field of family counselling or family therapy through volunteer work, research, relevant employment and/or life experience.
