ACAP is pleased to announce that we have received accreditation without conditions from the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) for all of our psychology courses offered through the School of Psychological Sciences until December 2020.

This means all of ACAP’s psychology courses fully meet the APAC standards.

APAC accreditation involves rigorous independent, external assessment of the curriculum, teaching materials, facilities and staff. A team of assessors conducted site visits to observe our facilities and review teaching materials. They also conducted interviews with staff and students and reviewed assessments and student outcomes.

APAC assessors then reported on each of ACAP’s courses, the School of Psychological Sciences and the College, measuring them against accreditation standards.

To retain the status, the process is repeated on a five-year cycle, with the next assessment to be conducted in 2020.

Achieving APAC accreditation without conditions across all ACAP psychology courses recognises the high academic standard of ACAP's psychology programs. The accomplishment also endorses the quality of our facilities and the professionalism and efficiency of the staff delivering and supporting the programs.
