Posted by Virginia on 30 August 2017

ACAP graduate Perri Carlson MAPS has had a co-authored article published in Seizure, the official European journal of Epilepsy. Perri’s contribution to the prestigious publication came just six months after she completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical).

Lecturer, Associate Professor Kathryn Nicholson Perry was Perri’s writing and research partner. Their joint article "Psychological interventions for psychogenic non-epileptic seizures: A meta-analysis", was published in print and online. The report evaluated 20 years of psychological interventions and prior studies in non-epileptic seizure management.

Seizure editor-in-chief, Dr Markus Reuber, selected the paper as the May issue’s editor’s choice, based on its social importance to the field of epilepsy research. View the article’s abstract here
