Dr Louise Cooper is a Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience working with the LGBTI community in private practice and with the queerspace team at Drummond Street Services

Louise is committed to advocating for the provision of LGBTI inclusive mental health services through education and awareness building within broader public health and community organisations.

This presentation is an introduction to providing LGBTI inclusive practices in mental health services.  In this session Louise will cover the following topics: 

  • Developing an awareness of the context of LGBTI well-being.
  • Appropriate language 
  • Documentation and practice environment to assist services in becoming LGBTI friendly

By attending this event you will receive a certificate crediting you with 2.5 PD hours.
