The journey towards death: Supporting the dying and their relatives.
We all have one thing in common. No matter what our culture, socio-economic standing with no exceptions we cannot escape death.
In Western society it could be argued that death is the most catastrophic event that is to be endured.
Working with the dying and their relatives can be rewarding and yet confronting for the therapist.
This workshop is designed to
• Allow you to confront your own mortality
• To take you on a journey what it is like for the patient and families from pre-diagnosis through to the moment of death
• To give you the skills to support the dying person and families.
By attending this event you will receive a certificate crediting you with 3 PD hours.
Registrations are crucial as places are limited. Please register via the online form. Registrations will be via Eventbrite and you will receive an email confirming your registration.
