Guy Vicars, and Practice-Perfect business partner Poonam Srivastava, are committed to helping graduate students of counselling and coaching develop their careers.

Most students leave their academic institution having worked really hard to get their qualifications only to flounder as they work out what to do next.

This PD will focus on three areas of the alumnus that have been identified to super-charge the careers of counsellors and coaches. These are:

  1. Mastering Skills
  2. Evolution of the Self
  3. Wealthy Mind, Healthy Practice

Combined, these distinct areas are known as the ‘Triple-Helix’ approach to building a fulfilling career. In reality these aspects of practice are inseparable yet they need individual focus in order to develop.

In this stimulating and reflective presentation attendees will be asked to focus on themselves as they begin to really see how they can best develop their own careers in the counselling and coaching fields. Since this is a unique process, each participant will get some clear, personally relevant and useful take-aways which they can apply to their situation.

Guy Vicars has a Master of Counselling degree from the University of New England and a Graduate Diploma in Individual Psychotherapy and Relationship Therapy from Jansen Newman Institute.  He is a Clinical Member of PACFA and The Australian College of Relationship Counsellors. In addition Guy is a full member of the Australian College of Counselling and Psychotherapy Educators. He has been working with individuals, couples and groups for over 20 years. Guy's consulting practice has many bows including face to face consulting, online consulting, teaching, corporate consulting and workshops, public speaking and professional writing.
