The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) has progressed ACAP’s Master of Social Work (Qualifying) to full accreditation status. The industry body develops, reviews and accredits the education standards for social workers, nationally.
Provisional accreditation was granted when the courses launched. Following its routine review of the ACAP postgraduate program during 2016, AASW determined that the program meets the high standards of sustainable development of the profession and the needs of clients and communities.
For ACAP’s graduates, accreditation means that the coverage of their studies reflects the current Social Work benchmarks for accountability and compliance.
