Associate Professor David Baker

David Baker lectures in and tutors for Corporate Crime at NCPS. He was previously an Associate Professor and Head of Criminal Justice at both Monash University and more recently at Federation University. He also spent five years as a Communication Skills Instructor at the Victoria Police Training Academy. At Monash University over two decades, he taught a range of criminology, criminal justice and policing courses. David is the author of Batons and Blockades: Policing Industrial Disputes in Australasia (2005), Police, Picket-lines and Fatalities: Lessons from the Past (2014) and co-editor of Locating Crime in Context and Place: Regional and Rural Perspectives (2015).
