Dr. Elisa Agostinelli

Biography

Dr. Elisa Agostinelli commenced at ACAP in 2019 as Lecturer level B in the Discipline of Counselling.

Prior to be at ACAP Elisa has lectured and supervised counsellors in Australian and American Universities.  Elisa worked as a counsellor in the palliative care sector for eight and a half years before transferring her skill base to supporting children and their families who have experienced trauma, abuse and neglect.

Elisa has obtained her honor in clinical psychology at the University La Sapienza Rome, Master Equivalent in Systemic Relational Psychotherapy at the Accademia di Psicoterapia della Familglia in Rome and then completed her PH. D at the University of Toledo Ohio in 2005 in counselling Education and Supervision: Minor in Educational Psychology.
