Alumni
After you graduate from ACAP, it doesn’t mean you have to cut ties with us. We welcome all of our past students to be part of an active community that allows you to invest in your career and your personal growth with your ACAP family.
Join the ACAP Alumni Community
The ACAP alumni community is an active community of ACAP graduates, allied health learners, teachers and professionals, working together to unlock possibilities. We achieve this through a range of engagement activities
including but not limited to:
- Continuing professional development seminars for alumni, students, staff and placement supervisors provided by experts in the allied health field
- Employment development and support for new ACAP graduates
- Networking opportunities at on-campus events and through social media
- Collaboration with external professional bodies and community service providers
So far in 2020, seminars have supported the alumni community with counselling those impacted by both the Australian bushfires as well as those affected by Covid-19 in any capacity. We have supported the community to transition to working with clients online through the various programs. Domestic Violence has been a focus of the seminars as has the mental health implications of dealing with the unprecedented challenges that Australians have faced in 2020.
