Dr. Belinda Barnes



Dr. Belinda Barnes, lecturer and supervisor at ACAP Brisbane Campus.  Belinda is also a clinical psychologist and registered supervisor who has worked in private practice for over 15 years with expertise in treating trauma, PTSD and complex trauma in adults and adolescents, as well as an interest in chronic pain, the body-brain connection, psychosomatics, dissociation, and attachment.  Belinda is passionate about mindfulness-based approaches in psychotherapy, brief psychodynamic psychotherapy, and schema therapy.  She enjoys supervising clinicians and students, and is a registered supervisor with the psychology board of Australia.
