Ms Mirjana Mitrevska
In 2005, following a career change, Mirjana commenced teaching in Tertiary Education (Vocational Education and Higher Education), initially with the Australian College of Natural Therapies (ACNT) and Think Education Group, and in 2014 joined the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP). Mirjana currently works as a Lecturer in the Discipline of Counselling.
Alongside her academic work, Mirjana also works as a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Small Business Coach/Mentor in private practice in Inner West Sydney. Of particular interest to Mirjana is working with individuals that have experienced Grief and Loss, Suicide Bereavement and Trauma, coupled with working with people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities.
Prior to commencing a career in the Counselling, Psychotherapy and Education field, Mirjana held several Management and Leadership roles in organisations such as McDonalds, Grace Bros (Myer), and also worked as a Program Assistant for St Vincent de Paul Society’s Volunteer Friendship Program, ‘Compeer’.
