Cathy worked at Relationships Australia NSW as a Couples and Family Therapist, as the Academic Head and then as Manager of Higher Education for the Australian Institute of Relationship Studies (AIRS, the teaching branch of Relationships Australia).  She has taught in a number of contexts, from the Manly Warringah Balgowlah branch of Lifeline where she was the coordinator of training to AIRS, ACAP, JNI, UWS, Charles Sturt University and the Australian Catholic University.  She has a small private practice and is the author of a novel based upon her PhD thesis (in the area of domestic violence) called For All Our Sakes published under the nom de plume, Kim Chapman.

In this session, Cathy will share with you some “jewels” from Family and Couple therapy theory and practice that are useful, if not obligatory, when working with individuals, couples, families and groups.

Registrations are crucial and are on a first in, best dressed basis. Please register via the online form by Tuesday 18th November 2014. Your registration will be confirmed via email.

We look forward to receiving your registration and seeing you at the seminar.

This will be the last opportunity to get together with your fellow Alumni before Christmas and so the networking and refreshments component will have a Christmas theme.
