Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are required to submit a written statement, reference letters, or other evidence of community involvement to substantiate claims of passion, initiative, or impact.
Written Statement
- Describe your passion for contributing to society through your chosen field of study
- Provide specific examples of how you have demonstrated this passion through past actions or initiatives, outline your career goals, and explain how you plan to create a positive impact in the future
- Highlight any challenges you have overcome and how this scholarship will support your aspirations
Scholarship Assessment Criteria
All applications for the Impactful Future Scholarship will be assessed against the following criteria:
- Clarity and Quality of Written Expression
- Demonstrated Passion for Societal Impact
- Alignment with Career Goals and Field of Study
- Evidence of Initiative and Drive
- Potential for Future Impact
How are the scholarship funds allocated?
The scholarship is applied to the tuition fees and distributed evenly across the units required to complete the course. The total Impactful Future scholarship value is $15,000.
For example, a Impactful Future Scholarship recipient studying the Bachelor of Counselling (24 units) would receive a scholarship value of $625 per unit, which is applied to their tuition fees as they progress through their studies.
More Details
Students are eligible to receive only one scholarship, bursary, or discount for the same unit of study. Where a student qualifies for multiple scholarships, bursaries, or discounts, the highest value award will be applied, and no additional scholarships or discounts will be granted for that unit.
