Referee report submission process
Referee reports are submitted through the Australian Psychology Post-Graduate Program Reference Request System.

To be able to use the system, you will need to have an active subscription. The cost is $25.00 and can be paid for through the “My Account” section in the payment tab.
Once registered ask two referees to provide us with referee reports. It is your responsibility for ensuring the referee submits the report. Once your referee has completed their report, please ensure you ‘share’ the reports prior to the closing date for applications. This is an additional step where you must click ‘share your references’ in the Australian Psychology Post-Graduate Program Reference Request System.
Refer to the Psychology Reference Guide for instructions on how to use the reference request system.
ACAP will download your referee report when applications close and late referee reports will not be accepted. We cannot accept referee reports directly from you or the referee, the reports must be registered on Australian Psychology Post-Graduate Program Reference Request System. If you have queries about the status of your referee reports please contact the Australian Psychology Post-Graduate Program Reference Request System.
Interviews for shortlisted applicants: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in the interview process.
Offers are made on a rolling basis until places are filled. Applicants who receive offers need to respond as required to confirm their place within 5 business days. Eligible candidates who do not receive an offer for admission in a given trimester will be considered for admission in up to two (2) subsequent trimesters after which a new application will be required.
Due to the anticipated high volume of applications, we are unable to comment on the status of individual applications. All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application in due course.
The application process for both the Master of Psychology (Clinical) and the Master of Professional Psychology is the same, however, the selection criteria differs between the two awards. If you are applying for both courses use one application and indicate that you are applying for both.
Please be sure to carefully read the course guide information and the entry criteria/prerequisites for the Master of Professional Psychology and the Master of Psychology (Clinical) before applying. All applicants must ensure that they meet the requirements for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia that includes meeting the mandatory English language skills registration standard.
