How are the scholarship funds allocated?

The scholarship is applied to the tuition fees and distributed evenly across the units required to complete the course. The total Kickstarter scholarship value is $15,000.

For example, a Kickstarter Scholarship recipient studying the Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (24 units) would receive a scholarship value of $625 per unit, which is applied to their tuition fees as they progress through their studies.

More Details

Students are eligible to receive only one scholarship, bursary, or discount for the same unit of study. Where a student qualifies for multiple scholarships, bursaries, or discounts, the highest value award will be applied, and no additional scholarships or discounts will be granted for that unit.

Alice, Bachelor of Social Work (Honours)
I began my bachelor's degree at a larger university, where I had a really negative experience with lectures of around 300 people, feeling very disempowered, alienated and disenfranchised from the university experience. I came across ACAP and the thing that drew me in was the intimate classes where you really build relationships with not just your colleagues and peers, but your lecturers and professors as well. Experience is key to learning especially in a field like psychology. Exposure through placements has been the most important part of my learning process and motivation for further study. Jazz, Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science
