Bachelor of Counselling
The Bachelor of Counselling provides students with a comprehensive and flexible approach to theoretical, experiential, and skills-based learning. Students will learn strategies to successfully explore a career in contemporary counselling, including how to support individuals, couples, families, or groups, considering the cultural and social-political context in which they live and how this may affect them. The course is delivered in small group environments on-campus, online and by blended delivery (nine counselling units) by well-qualified and experienced academic teachers using quality curriculum.

Diploma of Counselling Skills
The Diploma of Counselling Skills (DipCounSk) provides an introduction to the field of counselling and provides graduates with a strong skills foundation and theory base from which to provide community service and counselling support within the community services and health industries. The course introduces students to counselling theories as well as an understanding of mental health and wellness, ethical and legal practice, and personal and professional development.

Graduate Certificate of Counselling
The Graduate Certificate of Counselling provides an introduction to the field of counselling and equips students with some foundational counselling skills and knowledge. This course is designed for students who have an undergraduate degree in another discipline and want to develop a skills foundation for work in the helping professions, or to gain entry to further postgraduate counselling studies. Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Counselling provides a direct pathway to the Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy course at ACAP.

The Graduate Certificate of Human Services will provide students with specific knowledge in sociology, social policy making, Indigenous issues, and professional communications. Students will learn about contemporary Australian issues and nuances and how this relates to human services work, especially social work in the Australian community. Students will be guided on how to develop verbal and written communication, critical thinking and reasoning with an Australian context.

You’re ready to make your mark and help change people’s lives for the better. Our Master of Professional Psychology continues your deep understanding of human behaviour, and is the fifth year of the six years' professional training required for general registration as a psychologist in Australia. You can then complete a one-year Psychology Board of Australia approved internship to enable you to apply for general registration as a psychologist.

You’re ready to make your mark and help change people’s lives for the better. Our Master of Psychology (Clinical) continues your deep understanding of human behaviour and mental health. This is the fifth and sixth year sequence of professional training in psychology for your general registration as a psychologist in Australia. The aim of the Master of Psychology (Clinical) program is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, attributes and competencies to be able to undertake professional practice in a range of clinical settings with diverse client populations.

Undergraduate Certificate in Psychological Science
If you’ve ever thought about studying psychological science, our Undergraduate Certificate in Psychological Science is the ideal qualification to take the first step. The 4 unit course covers introductory units in psychology which will build foundational knowledge. On completion of this course, students can continue to higher studies in psychological science. The Undergraduate Certificate in Psychological Science is not available to international students.
