ACAP Psychology Clinic
|At the Psychology Clinic at the Australian College of Applied Psychology, we celebrate, value, and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, bodies, and abilities.|
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the health and wellbeing of our clients, student clinicians and staff, the ACAP Psychology Clinic will be providing free services through Telehealth until further notice, available to people throughout Australia.
Welcome to the Psychology Clinic at the Australian College of Applied Psychology.
The clinic is a not-for-profit organisation that offers a range of psychological services to the community at a nominal fee. We are located in Sydney city centre, across from Hyde Park and close to the Museum train station. Our services are informed by current research and adhere to ethical and professional standards to ensure quality services.
The clinic is staffed by provisionally registered psychologists or registered psychologists who have completed their undergraduate training in psychology. All provisionally/registered psychologists in the clinic are supervised by qualified and experienced endorsed psychologists. Video recording and clinical supervision are standard practices in the Clinic and are conducted with the clients' knowledge and consent.

About the Clinic
ACAP has been educating counsellors and psychologists for over 30 years. Our School of Psychological Sciences was established in 2009, and three years later, the ACAP Psychology Clinic was established. It exists as part of the School of Psychological Sciences.
ACAP offers qualifications recognised by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council and the Psychology Board of Australia, including the Master of Professional Psychology and the Master of Psychology (Clinical). Students of these programs are registered and provisionally registered psychologists completing postgraduate qualifications in Psychology. They staff the clinic under qualified and experienced senior psychologists.
Please note: We are not a walk-in clinic and not equipped for crises or emergency care. For ACAP students wishing to access psychology or counselling services, please visit the Student Counselling Support.
