Overview

Mark is a Leadership and Personal Development Coach, Mentor Coach, and Coach Supervisor who has been involved in Coaching Education since 2012. He has been teaching at ACAP since 2017, first as a Sessional Educator and an Academic and Co-ordinator of the Undergraduate Coaching Units since 2022.

Mark has over 4000 logged ours of coaching and has mentored over 500 coaches and coaches in training. His clients include small business leaders and leaders in not-for-profit, as well as ill and injured soldiers and long-term unemployed, working across the leadership and life-coaching spectrum.

As a Coaching Educator, Mark is passionate about the practical application of coaching skills, ensuring coaches are equipped to coach at a deep, transformational level.

Research

Mark’s current research interests focus on Maintaining a Coaching Mindset in the Wellness space – navigating the “zone” between coaching and counselling/therapy.

Teaching and Coordination Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of the four coaching units in the Bachelor of Counselling Coaching Minor (Coaching Theory and Practice, Life Coaching, Coaching Applications, Coaching Practice and Supervision)
  • Teaching Coaching Practice and Supervision, and Positive Psychology
  • Mentor Coaching for all coaching units
