Overview

Mark coordinates the undergraduate coaching units within the Bachelor of Counselling degree, and as Acting Course Leader for postgraduate coaching. He is a Leadership and Personal Development Coach, Coach Mentor and Coach Supervisor who has been involved in Coaching Education since 2012. Mark has been teaching at ACAP since 2017, first as a Sessional, as as an Academic since 2022.

Mark is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) credentialed Master Certified Coach. His clients include small business leaders, leaders in not-for-profit and military officers, and has previously offered life coaching to long-term unemployed and ill and injured soldiers.

As a Coach Educator, Mark is passionate about the practical application of coaching skills, ensuring coaches are equipped to coach at a deep, transformational level.

Research

Mark’s current research interests focus on Maintaining a Coaching Mindset in the Wellness space – navigating the “zone” between coaching and counselling/therapy.
