Spotlight on Navitas Skilled Futures

Delve deeper into Navitas' independent education provider, Navitas Skilled Futures.

A better future

Here in Australia, since 1990, Navitas Skilled Futures has been working to help migrants and refugees improve their English and employability skills, through the delivery of Australian Government programs designed to help people settle successfully. All courses are fully accredited.

Learning english

For many new arrivals to Australia, the main challenge is learning English. This doesn’t just impact their employability, it impacts simple day-to-day living activities, adjusting to new laws, a new culture and trying to establish an overall sense of belonging. The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)* offers free English language tuition to eligible migrants and humanitarian entrants to Australia. But it also offers much more.

PREPARING FOR WORK

Navitas Skilled Futures also helps people from a range of backgrounds who are looking to work in Australia. The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program** prepares people for the workplace with job-related language skills as well as training on recruitment processes, digital technology and knowledge around managing money and finances.

BESPOKE PROGRAMS

Because everyone’s needs are different, Navitas Skilled Futures can tailor its programs to specific requirements through the Foundation Skills for Your Future (FSFYF)** program, which works with businesses and individuals to help people succeed in their workplace. This may be a custom program with a group of employees or individual support to reach goals in language, literacy or digital skills for workplace success.
