Scholarship / Research
Dr. Trevor Simper’s current research focus is on the intersectionality between past psychological patterns, particularly those rooted in Schema Therapy, and how these patterns can be addressed and transformed in present-day life. His work explores how early life experiences and unresolved issues shape current behaviours, beliefs, and emotions, and how integrating therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy can facilitate healing and growth.
