Overview

Dr. Arnie Collison is an early career researcher and registered psychologist. Their research to date predominantly focuses on the lived experiences and health behaviours of the LGBT+ population and immigrant populations. Having previously worked as a School Psychologist for the Department of Education, including an Intensive English Centre, they have specific experience in adolescent mental health, CALD community support, and psychometric assessments. Arnie has also practiced as a psychologist at the Gender Centre before moving to their current workplace, Reid Clinical Psychology (https://reidclinicalpsychology.com.au/welcomex.html).

Research

Arnie completed their PhD in the lived experiences of the transgender population. They have research experience within the spheres of both sociology and psychology, having contributed to research projects and publications in the areas of sexuality and sexual health, community health, LGBT+ populations, and CALD populations.
