Professional Biography
Dr Harun Harun is the Course Leader for the Master of Professional Accounting (MPA).
He is an accomplished educator, consultant, researcher and CPA with extensive experience across the accounting profession. Dr Harun has taught at leading institutions including the University of Canberra, UNSW Canberra, James Cook University (Singapore), Hong Kong Baptist University and as an academic visitor at the Australian National University (ANU).
His work explores accounting as both the “language of business” and a core governance tool for organisations in an increasingly complex, technology-driven world. Dr Harun has contributed to major research projects on the future of accounting and finance, sustainability reporting and public sector accountability, and is passionate about preparing students to become ethical, capable and future-focused accounting professionals.
