Overview

Emma has worked extensively within education and clinical settings and initially began her teaching career within the state school system in the UK. After several years of teaching within senior management, Emma began her career as a counsellor, initially completing an Honours degree in Person-centred Counseling and Psychotherapy. She has since completed training in Integrative Clinical Supervision and postgraduate studies in Compassion Focused Therapy.

Emma has worked within clinical environments and Higher Education settings, offering critical incident response within a national team as well as trauma informed counselling and support. She has significant experience of working with individuals with complex and severe mental health needs and people who find themselves in high-risk situations.
