CRITICAL THINKING, CRITICAL ENQUIRY: CURIOSITY IN ACTION

CELEBRATING SCHOLARSHIP AND THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN CRITICAL THINKING AND DIVERSE FIELDS OF STUDY

Join us for the ACAP & SAE Conference 2025, a celebration of scholarship across the two institutions. This year’s theme, “Critical Thinking, Critical Inquiry: Curiosity in Action,” explores the connections between critical thinking and diverse fields of study, highlighting innovative scholarship and teaching practices that spark curiosity and advance knowledge.

Join our ACAP colleagues and academic leaders as we explore scholarship and the connections between critical thinking and diverse fields of study. Through a series of thought-provoking keynote, presentations, and panel-led discussions, engage with the latest research, approaches, and thinking for fostering and sustaining the connection between critical thinking and diverse fields of study.

This conference offers a platform for sharing insights, exchanging ideas, and building partnerships that extend beyond the event itself. Whether you are a experienced academic teacher or an emerging scholar, this conference provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding of scholarship and the connections between critical thinking and diverse fields of study.

Welcome to the 2025 conference

This year’s conference will be held as a hybrid model, with coordinated online streaming and face-to-face interaction. Presentations will be delivered both online and live from all ACAP campuses. We strongly encourage in-person attendance at our ACAP campuses to take advantage of valuable in-person interactions and discussions. Attendees can register to attend either on campus, where they can engage in networking and social events, or online.

Come and be part of a transformative experience that celebrates the academic community’s achievements and inspires future directions in scholarship and teaching. Together, we will explore how to sustain and enrich our academic practices by placing students at the centre of our scholarly pursuits.
