Pathway structure
The ACAP MBA is made up of 11 units of study. ACAP coaching graduates will receive credit for the following 2 units of study:
- BUS4111 Leadership and Professional Development
- BUS4113 Leading People and Change
And may apply for credit for an additional 2 units of study.
This means you could potentially save 240 hours of study time and complete your MBA in less than a year!

FAQs – applying for credit
In addition to receiving credit for BUS4011 and BUS4013, ACAP coaching graduates may apply for credit based on previous study or work experience for up to 2 of the following units:
- BUS4112 Project Management
- ACT4111 Financial Decision Making
- MKT4101 Marketing Strategy in a Digital World
- BUS5107 Corporate Governance and Sustainability
- BUS5108 Leading Strategic Innovation
- BUS5103 The Art and Science of Business Strategy
- BUS5104 Entrepreneurship
Detailed instructions are provided on the Applying for Credit page and consists of the following 3 steps:
- Self-assess your formal or informal learning and work experience with Learning Outcomes of the relevant MBA Units. See ‘course structure’ section on the MBA course page.
- Prepare a portfolio of evidence for each Unit (transcripts, supporting documentation)
- Complete the Application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Form.
